Apple's tvOS 17, introduced in June, promised new possibilities for users, including the ability to conduct meetings via Zoom and Webex apps directly on their Apple TV.

Previously limited to FaceTime calls, Apple TV users can now access the Zoom app for video conferencing on their Apple TV 4K devices.

The Zoom app, listed as "Zoom - for Home TV," was recently spotted on the Apple TV version of the App Store by a user on X. To utilize this feature, users will need a second-generation Apple TV 4K or a later version.

The app leverages the Continuity Camera feature, allowing users to use their iPhones as cameras or microphones during video calls when connected to a large screen like a TV.

The Zoom App Store listing highlights its capabilities: "With Zoom, you are one click away from video meetings with gallery views, and screen sharing.

Connect with anyone on other devices, Windows or Mac computers, mobile phones and tablets, Zoom Rooms, traditional conference room systems, and telephones."

How to Make Calls on Zoom App for Apple TV:

• Install and open the Zoom app on your Apple TV.

• Log in by visiting a pairing URL on your phone to enter a code displayed on the TV or manually enter credentials on the screen.

• Once logged in, Zoom will prompt users to connect to their phone.

• Choose your account if presented with shared users.

• Once selected, you will receive a notification on your phone. Accept it, and you are ready to go.
