Google Meet Down for users in India, Students complain about Missing Classes.

Having trouble connecting to a meeting on Google Meet? You are not alone.

According to DownDetector, a service that tracks outages in internet services, the issues began at around 6:30 am IST on Saturday.

Reports of outages peaked post 11 am, with over 1,000 users reporting an issue at around 11:15 am. 63 per cent users had an issue joining a meeting on the platform while 19 per cent users had issues with login. 16 per cent users reported an issue with starting a meeting.

Users have also filled Twitter with complaints about Google Meet not working since morning.

The outage seems to be affecting India largely with the issue spread across different cities. Cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bengaluru are witnessing the highest number of Google Meet problems. Users are also tweeting about the Google Meet outage.

Some users are getting kicked out of meetings instantly after joining the meeting, and in some cases the audio and video aren’t working.
