Apple just released a red iPhone 7 and new iPad that’s way less expensive than before!

Apple has unveiled a range of new products including a cheaper iPad, and new colors for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.


The technology giant has released a red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, which will be available on March 24 and start at £699. The additional color option is part of Apple’s Product Red campaign, a range of red products for which Apple makes a contribution from every purchase to the Global Fund for HIV and AIDS programs. To date, Apple has generated over $130m (£104m) through the project, the company said.

It joins a range that includes red cases, a red iPod shuffle, Nano and touch, red Beats products and a red Apple Watch sport band.

Apple on Tuesday updates the iPad with a 9.7-inch Retina display starting at $329.


Apple’s senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing said that iPad was the company’s most popular tablet and its customers enjoy the 9.7-inch display as it could be used to watch TV and movies, read books, make calls on FaceTime and enjoy pictures.

He further said that the iPad was for using in schools, home and work. According to reports, the iPad has an A9 chip and can access more than 1.3 million apps, which have been designed specifically for it.


The iPad comes in silver, gold and space grey. It costs at 329 USD for the 32GB with Wi-Fi and 459 USD for the Wi-Fi +.

It is being made available on the Apple’s official website and all Apple stores.

The iPad is to be available for order and purchase from March 24 and is to start delivering to the customers and reaching stores in more than 20 countries such as Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK, Denmark, India, Mexico, Norway, Russia, Turkey.


Other countries are to make to the list in April. Countries like Brazil, Taiwan among others will join the supply in May. According to the press release, every customer is to be offered a personal set up to customize their iPad.


The iPad Mini 4 will also be made available in silver, gold and space grey and are capable of offering more capacity for their earlier price, which starts at $399 for the 128 GB Wi-Fi model and $529 for the 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model.


Reports, however, do not specify the battery life. The press release states that the battery life depended on the device settings and other factors, although actual results might vary. LTE is to be made available through selected few carriers and the network speeds would vary accordingly. The iPad comes with a bright retina display with 3.1 million pixels, which help in increasing picture and video quality.


The A9 chip, designed by Apple is claimed to provide fast processing and performance for apps and games while maintaining the battery life. The iPad also comes with the iOS 10 and brings better ways to communicate expressive messages and few different ways to use Siri.
